November 28, 1932 - June 24, 2024

Lillian (Lil) Pauline Seigo, passed away on June 24, at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.

Born on November 28, 1932, in Maple Ridge, BC, Lillian spent her entire life surrounded by the people and places she loved. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Joseph Seigo, for over 49 years, and a loving mother to her three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was watching her family grow, and she had a warm and nurturing nature that made her a treasured figurehead in the family. Lillian was always ready to offer a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand.

In addition to her family, Lillian was deeply committed to her community. She spent many years with Community Services and was instrumental in creating the Cythera Transition House Society, a local organization that provides support and resources to women and children in need. Her efforts also resulted in the establishment of Begin Again, a support group that promotes emotional, physical and social wellness for widows and divorced women. Her selflessness and generosity earned her great respect and admiration from all who knew her.

Lillian's passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all those who loved her, but her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.

Lillian is survived by her children: Gary (Rhonda), Cheryl, and Susan (Mike); her grandchildren: Kara, Carissa (Lee), Lanai, Chelsea, Steven, Travis, and Trevor (Kirsten); and great-grandsons: Finnley, Lochlan, Shepherd, and Levi.

She will be missed but our memories will keep her close.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cythera Transition House Society would be appreciated. To learn more about Cythera Transition House Society, please visit https://www.cythera.ca
