Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows will be alive with dance on Wednesday as they host the Wild Moccasin Dancers for a couple of family-friendly events that demonstrate the beauty and importance of Indigenous dances.
These performances, which are part of the Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge libraries’ summer reading clubs, will feature several members of the Wild Moccasin Dancers as they spend 45 minutes showing off their intertribal dance steps and styles.

First up will be the Maple Ridge performance, which is set to take place on Wednesday, July 5, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Maple Ridge Library.
After wrapping up their Maple Ridge routine, these Coast Salish dancers will head over to Spirit Square in Pitt Meadows, where they will perform from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.
