With a Tuesday night 10-5 win over the Coquitlam Adanacs and other shuffling in the WLA standings, the Maple Ridge Burrards find themselves in a playoff spot.

The Burrards are tied for third place in the league with a 4-6 record, and eight games left to play.

Ryan Jones had a great night on June 25, with two goals and six assists for a whopping eight points, and he was named the game's first star.

Dylan Mcintosh's four goals and five points made him the second star, and third was goaltender Brandon Humphrey, who allowed five goals and stopped 41 shots. Rookie Marcus Klarich tied Jones with six assists on the night.

In the WLA points race Jones was sitting second with 45, Mcintosh third with 41 and Klarich fourth with 38. It should be noted the Burrards have played more games than some teams, but Jones and Mcintosh are also in the WLA top 10 in points per game.

The Adanacs jumped out to a 4-1 lead early in the second period, but then the Burrards went off, scoring seven straight unanswered goals to take over the game.

The Burrards will be in New Westminster to play the Salmonbellies on July 4, in Burnaby against the Lakers the next night, then host the Adanacs again on Sunday, July at 7 p.m., at Cam Neely Arena.
