Ridge Meadows RCMP wins Pitt Meadows holiday tree contest

Stardom Childcare came in second, and Caffe Delish was third

Christmas trees can take all shapes and sizes, as proven in the recent holiday tree contest hosted at the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre.

A total of nine holiday trees were set up in the recreation centre as part of the Christmas in Pitt Meadows event this year, with the community getting to cast their votes for which tree they thought was the best.

Coming out on top was the Ridge Meadows RCMP tree, which featured a variety of police-themed decorations, including a star made out of police tape.

The Stardom Childcare tree came in second place, with third place going to Caffe Delish.

According to the City of Pitt Meadows, a total of 269 votes were cast in the contest.

“Thank you to local businesses and community organizations that have brought extra sparkle to the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre during the holidays,” said the city.
