With plenty of snow still covering much of the roads in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, local schools have once again been forced to declare a snow day.

The Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District 42 announced Thursday morning that all of the SD42 schools, including Riverside Centre programs, continuing education, and Ridge Meadows College, would be closed for another day due to what they called “unsafe road conditions and compromised pedestrian access.”

Meadowridge and Maple Ridge Christian also remained closed.
