It’s important for people of all ages to understand how the country’s pension program works, which is why the Maple Ridge Public Library is hosting a pension information session on Wednesday, Jan. 24.

This event will be run by Service Canada representatives, who will be going through the key points of the Canada Pension Plan and fielding questions from attendees.

Community librarian supervisor Liza Morris explained that this information session will be beneficial to a wide range of individuals.

“This program is for newcomers or anyone who is looking into retirement and wants to learn about CPP benefits,” said Morris.
