The Summer Reading Club is back, and the Maple Ridge Library has programs to help readers get on track.
The Fraser Valley Regional Library’s them this year is Journey Through Time, and it invites participants to read about the past, present, and future.
There is a club for everyone, kids up to Grade 6, teens from grades 7-12, and adults. The club is free to join, and readers of all ages can win prizes. The more you read, the more chances you have to win.
This year’s club is available using the Beanstack mobile app or website.
It’s easy to record progress, earn badges and enter prize draws – all online.
Participants can register at fvrlca.beanstack.org, and begin to track their reading on June 21. Those who prefer paper can pick up a paper reading record at the library..

There are numerous events offered by the Maple Ridge Library designed to foster a love of reading.
Summer Storytime is being held Tuesdays until Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the library, which features interactive stories, songs, rhymes and more.
Storytime on the Bandstand takes place each Friday at Memorial Peace Park, from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m., until July 28.
